do me a favor and try again right now. It is possible you tried accessing the site the exact second we were fixing an issue which would have resulted that message. If not, I wait here a few minutes to hear back from you

Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Isn't there a special text tag or *something* that we can put in our reports to speed up/automate the deletion of CP spam posts? It's REALLY getting tiresome having to wait several hours for this sickening shit to go away in /tits. On that subject, only being able to report three posts at a time is also annoying too.

12+ hours since I last reported CP spam in /tits/, and meanwhile three MORE posts have appeared…

 No.208

This is getting really bad now. I remember when there used to be spammers, but the CP was only implied. Now they're pasting what look like actual CP, more frequently, and seem to be covering the front page.

How many false positives do the automatic spam filters have? If it's not a lot already, it would make sense to increase the sensitivity. I'd imagine a CNN image classifier would end up classifying anything with skinny people in it as spam if you turned it up high enough, but even if it got that far, there's not that much of that content here anyway. I feel like it would be better to be manually allowing OK content accidentally classified as spam than having to go in and manually remove all the CP that keeps getting posted.

 No.209

Wasn't there a CAPTCHA for a few weeks, after they "upgraded" the software? At least throw some obstacle in their path, /tits is getting bombarded

 No.210

>>208 You have some good ideas there, but our problem is still the one I mentioned here >>191 about the owner.
>>209 And bringing back CAPTCHA would be the same issue, but I don't think it's worth using that again anyway because it only worked for a couple of days before they got around it easily.

 No.212

The CP posts all have large text URLs in the images. Even 90s-era OCR could pick up on that and flag them for autodeletion.

I understand that this thread went off the rails and I have no issues with the moderators banning those where were causing shit, but was it really necessary to lock the thread?

I don't see the point in killing a perfectly fine, content filled thread just because a few people decided to be retards. Especially since Danganronpa as a series is pretty popular for WG art.

 No.204

you're welcome to start a new one.

Does anyone else think it would be a good idea to start a separate board just for upload links?
I upload content fairly regularly and I feel that it would be a good idea if whoever uploads a file, copies the link into the board also and that way more content can be seen and shared.

 No.201

>>199
Are you talking about starting something else in the deep net because if not, the links are gonna die within 3 days if the artist/model/whoever doesn't notice it in the shallows before the usual upload hosts people here use destroys them to save space so it will just be a site filled with dead links if you can get people to post there knowing how big a waste of time it is.

 No.197[Reply]

Why are the mods on here so trigger happy? Can we stop banning people for speaking their mind?

 No.198

This is why…

3. No bitching/trolling/abuse.
This also means ignoring the thread if you don't like the subject matter. Just move along.

 No.120[Reply]

I hate to beat a dead horse and all, but is there EVER going to be a hide thread button again? The site is barely usable without it.

The difference is that in GTA, the people are playing a character, killing virtual people. You, however, actually physically and sexually gratify yourself to the image and concept of child molestation. GTA stays in the land of make-believe. You bring your behavior into reality.

If your average gamer rubbed one out after shooting a crowd of people, they might be as fucked up as loli/CP fans. But that isn't your average gamer.

Regardless, if this site goes down, it will probably be because of loli/CP posts, and the mods who were too foolish and lazy to learn from others' mistakes.(USER WAS BANNED FOR THIS POST)

 No.179

>>176

Before I wrote a lot refuting you, but you've pretty much ignored all arguments put forth before so I deleted that old post to get to a more direct point.

Want to know why Lolicon images are even allowed to be hosted here at all? It's because BBWchan server is hosted in a country that does NOT consider Loli illegal, inflatechan was killed because people posted ACTUAL child porn and the moderators didn't do anything about it, not because of lolicon material.

Look man, you don't gotta like loli material, everyone else has stated that. If it makes you uncomfortable then the mods should absolutely hurry up and implement the hide button so you can hide such threads. But Loli isn't going to cause bbwchan to get shut down.

 No.181

So now there's a second thread for "limit-free" stuff on /alt/ that's being yet again covered in scat images.

Please, please, please give us back hide thread.

 No.195

Seriously, what's going on with this?

It's been five months. The old copy of the site still has the code for things like hide thread implemented. Why can't it just be copied over?

This place feels like its been abandoned by its owners.

 No.196

>>195
there's only one owner (not me), and none of the admins or mods can do anything on the back end. we're just as frustrated as you are, since this software was supposed to fix everything bad about the last one and now we have to field all of the complaints that we can't fix. we get it. it sucks.

 No.186[Reply]

Word Wrapping on some posts with images seems to be broken. Not exactly sure what causes it, but the images have to be a specific resolution I think.

I'd post an image example but they're disabled here, so here's a thread where its noticable on a few posts:
http://bbw-chan.net/bbwalt/res/33.html

Check posts 2746, 3718, 3719, 3878, 3885, or 3904 to see what I mean.

 No.182[Reply]

Can we just fucking ban the people who keep shitting up threads with irrelevant blathering?
